our story
It All Started With a Dog
In 2006, while travelling in India, our founder Dr Gemma Campling met an injured stray dog in the Himalayas who had no access to veterinary care. That moment revealed a wider global need and inspired the creation of Worldwide Vets.
Today, we support animal welfare projects and organisations around the world by providing veterinary care, equipment, logistics, and volunteer support where it is needed most. We work alongside local teams to improve access to treatment and strengthen long-term veterinary capacity.
Our volunteers include vets, nurses, students, and animal lovers from across the globe, united by a shared passion to improve the lives of animals in need.

our vision
A world where every animal, regardless of location or circumstance, has access to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.
