MOZAMBIQUE HORSE SAFARIS VACANCY

We’re thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity in Mozambique. The company is seeking an experienced rider with a mature attitude to assist with the care of 7 horses at a 5 star lodge. This is for 2 months, whilst their full time manager is on leave.

Location: Benguerra Island, Mozambique, Africa.

Renumeration: This is a volunteer role but flights from Johannesburg, food, and accommodation are provided.

Dates: 15 January to 15 March 2026

This is an incredible opportunity to live and work in a breathtaking tropical island setting, and spend your days caring for and riding exceptional horses. The role involves all aspects of daily care (feeding, grooming, health checks), plus leading guests on spectacular beach rides, and ocean swimming with the horses. You will be working with international guests, and exceptional professionalism and safety is important. Past experience working at equine tourism facilities is considered a bonus.
